For remote support we utilize the app AnyDesk, which can be downloaded through ninite.com.

Should you feel uncomfortable with ninite, then we recommend downloading directly at anydesk.com. Please note that when you install it you get a workable version then they ask you to download it again. The second download is optional at the moment and may lead to a pay-for version.

Rates

Per Project Rates:

Many times someone has need to fix their OS software, change out a fan, migrate to an SSD drive, recover data from an older computer, etc.. I can quote you a fixed project rate at that point. You will, of course, need to pay for any new hardware in addition to the labor being quoted.

I will not run up labor charges over project quote without first consulting you.

Hourly Rates:

The hourly rate, outside of a per-project rate, is $55 per hour. We have a discounted rate of $45 per hour for veterans and seniors.

Remote Support:

$40 per hour. Call and talk with me about it. A few minutes to solve your issue on the phone won’t be charged, I know sometimes you just need a nudge to point you the right way.

Long Distance Trips:

If you’re down the hill, I will likely charge more for a trip down the hill. In general $30 to cover fuel for 2 round-trips, please ask if you are closer or have other concerns.
